How McBride supports the next generation
Over the past 12 months, the McBride Charitable Trust has supported 87 children across Europe through our Young People Scheme – providing each child with £200 (or the equivalent in local currency) to invest in their studies, and helping them to afford essentials like books, equipment and course costs.
We caught up with two of our beneficiaries and their families to ask how the funds have helped them:
“My daughter Jagoda is 19 years old, and has just begun her studies at the Medical University in Wrocław, where she is pursuing a degree in Emergency Medical Services. Receiving this grant means a great deal to her.
The grant not only helps ease the financial challenges of studying but also gives her the confidence and motivation to grow in a profession she is so passionate about. She is deeply grateful for McBride’s support and for the company’s belief in her potential.

“Receiving the grant from McBride was very much appreciated as I need to balance study, playing football and working on campus whilst living in the USA away from home. I will be using the money to pay for sports equipment linked to my course.” – Ben W
If you’re a McBride employee in Europe and you have a child aged 16-25 who is undertaking nationally recognised further education, we’ll be reopening the scheme in summer 2026. Please contact HR for more information.
