We meet EU directives and industry standards across our 19 factories in seven countries. We work to ISO9000 quality standard, ISO 14001 environmental standards and OSHAS 18001 health and safety standards.
Our factories are regularly audited by our customers and other bodies such as the British Retail Consortium. We take an important role in industry organisations including the AISE (European Detergents Industry Association), UK CTPA (Cosmetics, Toiletries and Perfume Association), the British Aerosol Manufacturers Association and is active in legislative directives such as REACh (Regstration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) and the Global Harmonised System of classification and labelling of household products.
The Grocer magazine has chosen McBride as the best company in the Private Label Household and Personal Care sector every year since 2002 and overall Best Private Label supplier three times in that period.
As the clear leader in our chosen product categories, we do not rely solely on third parties to govern our quality standards. We continuously improve our working practices and professionalism so that our quality can improve year on year. This applies to the quality of our people and our facilities as well as, of course, the quality of our products.
